Meditation is the daily practice of relaxing and focusing the mind to reach higher states of awareness in four primary areas of life:
(A) Physical Well-Being: This includes awareness of our own body, exercise and fitness routines, healthy diet lifestyle with plenty for fresh fruits, raw vegetables and salads, cleanliness of the home and surroundings areas, recycling, clean environment, fresh air, pure water, participating in yoga sessions, quitting of addictions like tobacco and alcohol, and also practice of skills to encourage loved ones in maintaining their Physical Well-Being.
(B) Emotional Well-Being: This includes awareness of our emotional state of being, love relationships, friendships, connections with family members, being assertive, understanding others better, letting go of the past, forgiving those who hurt our feelings, developing passion and excitement in life, participating in different activities, helping someone in need, setting healthy boundaries with others, quitting of abusive relationships, learning to ask for help, and also practice of skills to encourage loved ones in maintaining their Emotional Well-Being.
(C) Financial Well-Being: This includes awareness of our relationship with money, learning new professional skills, regularly taking new courses, expense management, learning about tax management, meeting with financial advisers, retirement planning, real estate investments, credit management, finding mentors, learning to spend wisely, learning to say no to futile spending, risk management, quitting of impulsive shopping, learning to manage money, and also practice of skills to encourage loved ones in maintaining their Financial Well-Being.
(D) Spiritual Well-Being: This includes awareness of our higher self, learning to accept others as they are, developing our compassion and kindness, listening to our inner voice, developing our intuition, living in the present moment, being of service, developing a global identity, volunteering at not-for-profits of our choice, random acts of kindness, creating a fulfilling balanced and healthy future, group meditation, taking courses in meditation, listening to spiritual leaders of our choice, accepting our-self, developing inner peace, quitting of blaming others and complaining, and also practice skills to encourage loved ones in maintaining their Spiritual Well-Being.
